Hon. Secretary. T. Bateman Deputy Chairman & Treasurer Maj. Luke Smith TD Frezenberg 2009 The Memorial Service Sunday May 17th 2009, will be at Ypres. Next year will be a very special year as the Squadron and the Old Comrades will be holding the service in the Church at Ypres in Belgium and will be unveiling a plaque to commemorate the Leicestershire Yeomen who fell on the 12th - 14th of May 1915. Planning is still in the early stages but on the day before Saturday the 16th it is intended to organise a tour of the battlefield and then take a formal part in the evening ceremony at the Menin Gate, laying a wreath to those who have no known grave. We very much hope many of you will join us in Belgium and we are also trying to trace the descendants of those who fought in the battle and encourage them to join us.
