Badge Variants

c1844-99

Gilt  Metal (Officer's Dress Crossbelt Badge)

White Metal (Officer's Undress Crossbelt Badge)
*The white metal Victorian Crown is not original but is a good representation of the separate crown that sits above the main badge. It is the correct size and a  gilding-metal crown is normally seen on the un-dress pouch.

Other Ranks White Metal, c1844-70
Light Dragoon Helmet Plate

Above is the Albert helmet "combined" QVC and below is the earlier Bell Top Shako badge that has no attached crown and also has a black " shellacked " or enamelled centre circle that highlights the "LYC".
